The 6 R's of sustainability

• Recycle

  Recovering parts and materials to be used again when products reach the end of their life

  Minimise waste. Use less material and remove excessive packaging.

  Avoiding designs which use materials that are hazardous to the environment or people

  design products that can be repaired rather than those that have to be thrown out after being damaged
• Rethink

  Consider carefully if there might be more sustainable alternatives
• Reuse

  make it possible to repurpose products rather than discarding them
• Dissasembly

  taking a product apart for repair or when it has reached the end of its life.
