• White blood cells produce antibodies to fight anything foreign (antigens)
• Anything that is foreign is a antigen.
• In monoclonal antibodies you inject a mouse with the antigen.
• The b-lymphocytes are extracted and are fused with a tumour cell to produce a hybridoma.
• HCG is a hormone found in pregnant women urine. The antibodies stuck to the test strip. When peed the hormone binds to antibodies and blue beads.
