  • Arterioles
  • Capillaries
• Main Function of Cardiovascular System - Provide oxygen, nutrients and hormones to muscles, tissues and organs throughout your body and takes away wastes
• Arteries - These strong, muscular blood vessels carry oxygen-rich blood from your heart to your body.
• Arterioles - contribute to maintaining mean arterial pressure and tissue perfusion and they also play a principal role in regulating blood flow in an organ or tissue-specific manner
• Capillaries - they transport blood, nutrients and oxygen to cells in your organs and body systems
