    • Function in body temperature regulation
    Eccrine glands
    • Ducts empty into hair follicles in the armpit and genitals
    • Begin to function at puberty
    • Release sweat that also contains fatty acids and proteins (milky or yellowish color)
    • Plays a minimal role in body temperature regulation
