retain employees - as good employees re motivated to work for the company, it is less likely that they will leave - employees cost a lot to train so the company will get more value for its investment the less employees leave
productivity - if morale is high because of highly motivated employees, they will be more productive and the company will benefit as a result - quality, sales and profits should increase accordingly
