• 2) use the short ruler to ensure their thumb and first finger are a set distance apart
• 3) line up the 0cm of the 1m ruler with their hand
• 4) without warning, drop the 1m ruler
• 5) record the distance on the ruler at the point they catch it
• 6) use the conversion chart to convert distance into a reaction time
