Kinds of Dramatic Poetry:
Dramatic monologue
- combination of drama and poetry, refers to a long speech delivered by a single character.
Soliloquy
- passage spoken aloud by the character, but can only be heard by themself and not the audience.
Character sketch
- the playwright encourages the audience to form an opinion of the character delivering their lines.
