  • Field - a category of information stored about the data.
  • Record - an entry into the spreadsheet.
  • Sort - used to either arrange quantitative data in ascending / descending order or qualitative data alphabetically.
  • Filter - used when you only want data to do with a specific field on the spreadsheet.
  • Count - used to count the number of records in a particular section, for quantitative we use 'count' for qualitative we use 'countA'.
  • Sum - used to add up all the numerical values within a particular section.
  • Standard deviation - used to find the standard deviation for a particular section.
