• Based on 1851 Census of Religious Worship - Crockett 1998: 40% of population attended church every sunday
• According to last religious census UK: only 5% of population go to church every sunday

• BSA 2018 Between 1983-2020: proportion of those with no religion rose from under 1/3 to over 1/2
• BSA 2018: those identifying Christians from 1983-2020 fell by 40%
