Translation

• Proteins are made (during synthesis) by joining amino acids into long peptide chains known as polypeptide chains.
• Peptide bonds link amino acids together.
• Transcription usually occurs in the ribosome.
• tRNA is a major part of translation
• the tRNA brings in an anti-codon complimentary to the mRNA codon sequences. With each anti-codon is the amino acid that mRNA codon codes for.
• The polypeptide chain grows until it reaches a stop codon.
