Delivers low concentration of oxygen at 24% to 45% at flow rates of 2 - 6 LPM
  • Simple Face Mask
    40% to 60% at flow rates of 5 - 8 LPM
  • Partial Rebreather Mask
    60% to 90% at flow rates of 6 - 10 LPM
  • Non-rebreather Mask

  • Venturi Mask
    24% to 60% at flow rates of 4 - 10 LPM
  • Venturi Mask
Most precise; for Chronic Airflow Limitation e.g. emphysema and bronchitis
  • Nasal Cannula
Most convenient and least anxiety; also for Chronic Airflow Limitation e.g. emphysema and bronchitis
  • Partial Rebreather Mask
Increases FiO2 by recycling expired oxygen
  • Non-rebreather Mask
For emergencye e.g. shock, severe burns
  • Face Tents
Used when O2 masks are not tolerated
  • Face Tents
Assessment: Check facial skin frequently for dampness and chaffing
