  • The most important thing is to decide what you would like to find out. It has to be linked to the specification you are studying, and you need to be able to do it at the location you have in mind
  • You then need to decide on a title of the investigation or a hypothesis.
  • The title is what you want to find out, usually phrased as a question.
  • The hypothesis is a statement based on the geographical title question. You can have one or more of these; and these are what you base your data collection around.
