• Who was Edwin Chadwick 


  Chadwick was a lawyer who devoted his efforts towards health and social reforms.

  in 1842 he published a report about public health. It showed that the length of peoples lives was greatly affected by where they lived. he also highlighted how it was not the poors fault that they were poor.
