  • In what way do individuals and collectives express their identities?
    People can express their individual identities through family, language, religious beliefs, traditions, interests/talents, passage of time, and body adornment. Collective can be expressed through (also) language, and the groups of people they associate themselves with.
  • How would you define globalization?

    The constant growth of interconnectedness through trade, and technological advancements.
  • What is the difference between point of view and perspective?

    Point of view is speaking based off of knowledge learned from your individual identities whereas perspective is speaking based in knowledge learned from your collective identities.
  • Why is it important to try to understand other peoples perspective and POV?

    Canadians live in a pluralistic society (a society that contains many different kinds or people), it also respects diversity, and broadens our own understanding of the world.
  • How do individuals express themselves?

    Through slang, jargon and their collective identities.
