    1. Juxtaposition - juxtaposes Stave 1 where Scrooge says “Bah humbug!” to anyone who wishes him a merry Christmas. This shows his transformation
    2. Similes - helps emphasise his joy for Christmas
    3. Anaphora (?) - exaggerates how happy Scrooge is after the 3 spirits
  • "And therefore I am about to raise your salary!"
    1. Juxtaposition - once more juxtaposes Stave 1 Scrooge where he didn't let Bob Cratchit add coal to the fireplace and that "darkness was cheap"

  • Scrooge was better than his word. He did it all, infinitely more; and to Tiny Tim, who did not die, he was a second father.
