blood glucose concentration can effect the amount of osmosis taking place in and out of our body
water leaves our cells via osmosis
if too much water leaves, our cells become flacid.
flacid
when too much water leaves the cells, wich leaded to jobs like the cytoplasm.
if the cells hold to much water and the concentration of water is too high, the cells burst.
when glucose leaves are too high the pancreas produces insulin
insulin produces glucose that makes glycogen that is stored in the liver and muscles
insulin and glucagon are hormones
someone who has type 2 diabetes can still produce insulin however the no longer respond to the insulin. glucose is not made wich mean there is not glycogen so the blood concentration remains high
the blood glucose remains within a small limit in type 2 diabetes
