WK02 - Protein Digestion

• Exopeptidase hydrolyses the peptide bonds at the end of the polypeptide chain to release amino acids.
• Endopeptidase hydrolyses the peptide bonds within the polypeptide chain to create more ends to be acted upon by exopeptidase.
• Dipeptidase hydrolyses the peptide bond between two amino acids (a dipeptide) to release them.
