  1. visited 3 sites in both east and purley and recorded different types of housing on tally chart (flats/semi-detached/terraced)
  2. easy and quick way to record data
  3. limitations: may not correctly record types of homes(may look like a house but is a flat above a shop...)
  4. improvements: compare results with someone else

  2. allows us to compare different sites, to show similarities/differences
