    Based on facts and evidence, not subjective. A study can be objective through random allocation, double blind technique, standardised procedures and recording and measurement.
  • Empirical Methods
    Data must be gathered through observations and experiments; through senses.
  • Replicability
    The study and measurements should be able to be repeated to see if similar results can be found.
  • Hypothesis testing
    The theory is developed through hypothesis testing
  • Falsification
    Study should be designed so that the hypothesis can be tested to be right or wrong.
