    • Demanded 300 scrubbing brushes to clean dirt near patients
    • Went with 38 other nurses and 15 nuns to improve hospitals
    • Had clean bedding & good meals provided
    • Organised nurses to treat nearly 2000 wounded soldiers
    • Ensured that there was regular hand washing, improvements to sewerage and improvements to ventilation
