    The speaker expresses belief about the truth of a proposition like boasting, suggesting, asserting, and swearing.

    The speaker tries to make the addressee perform an action by way of commanding, inviting, pleading, or insisting.
  • What is Commissive? 

    Commits the speaker to future actions such as promising, planning, vowing, and betting.
  • What is expressive? 

    The speaker expresses his/her feelings or emotional reactions. It could be thanking, apologizing, welcoming, and deploring.
  • What is Declarative? 

    The speaker brings a change in the external situation (blessing, firing, baptizing, and bidding)
