- TThe reason why you should remove the debt is to help the young people. Ethiopia does not have enough money to have access to clean water. This means that approximately 60 million Ethiopians still lack access to safe drinking water. Therefore they are developing illnesses and diseases, as there water may have animals drinking from it, or may be based in sand or in the mud. This means the life expectancy will decrease and the death rate will increase.
- Another reason why you should remove the debt is to help build homes. Houses in Ethiopia are made out of poor materials. This means a lot of people will be going back to house with no heating, not made out of bricks, little to no space, and lacking in food and water running out of a tap. Therefore people are living in poor and unsafe conditions.
