Exposition is the beginning of the story. This is where the author introduces the settings, character, and the initial situation or conflict
Inciting Incident is an event or circumstances that disrupt the normal life of the protagonist and sets the story in motion. This is consider as the beginning of central problem.
Rising action involves series of event and complication that build upon the inciting incident. It is going towards the centralconflict.
Climax is the story's turning point. This represent the moment of greatest tension and emotional intensity.
Falling action is where the story begins to wind down. This is the event that occur as a result to the climax.
Resolution (denouement) is the final part of the plot. The central conflict is fully addressed and resolves and shows the outcome of the story.
Conflict is the central struggle or problem that drives the plot and create tension of the story.
Internal struggle- within the character's mind
External struggle- involves the surroundings of the character
Theme is the central idea or message that the story convey.It often explore universal truth, moral dilemmas, or human experiences.
Point of view (POV) is the perspective from which the story is narrated.
Limited point of view- narrator knows the thought and feeling of one character
Omniscient point of view- narrator knows the thought and feeling of multiplecharacter
Tone is the author's attitude or emotional disposition towards the subject matter or character in the story. It also sets the story's mood
Symbolism involves the use of symbols or objects to respect abstract ideas.
Dialogue is the conversation between the characters in the story. Adding this reveals the trait of a character
Mood is the motional atmosphere or feeling by the story. It is influenced by elements such as the setting, tone, and imagery.
Style encompasses the author's unique writting tone and the way they express ideas.
