• Extended family is a family unit that includes relatives beyond the nuclear family, such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
• Modified Extended Family - The modern family, in which members live separately, but are still close, providing emotional support.
• Lone Parent - A lone mother (Matrifocal) or father (Patrifocal) and their dependent children
