• A pHd student performs well on a test. This is an example of crystallized intelligence.
• Someone gets into a car crash and is quick to get out their license and registration. This is an example of fluid intelligence
• An AP exam is an aptitude test because it predicts one's ability to do something
• A driver's exam is an achievement test
• An IQ is an intelligence test
• Modernizing, developing society has equipped citizens with generally higher socioeconomic statuses and better nutrition/healthcare. This in turn has increased their IQ. This is known as the Flynn effect!
• Identical twins take separate IQ tests and score similarly. This indicates that intelligence is heritable, and also polygenetic.
