• A gene is a section of DNA that codes for a protein.
• Different forms of the same gene are called alleles.
• If they get different alleles, the organism is said to be heterozygous for that trait.
• All of the alleles an organism has is called its genotype.
• Gametes are Sex cells (sperm and egg cells) with half the usual number of chromosomes.
• Heterozygous-When someone has two different alleles of a gene e.g. Ff.
• A Mutation is A random change in DNA which may result in genetic variants.
