• Field lines are:

  Parallel to each other

  Right angles to the plate

  Equally spaced apart

  Go from positive to negative
• Electric field strength between parallel plates is given by:

• If there is no insulator, Capacitance is given by:

  C = E0*A/d

  If there is a capacitor:

  C = Er*E0*A/d
