  a field is a region of space where charged objects will experience a force, charged objects have their own electric field around them.
• how do charged objects feel a force in an electric field?

  1. this is caused by the electric fields interacting with each other and is linked to the strength of the electric field an object is in.
  2. as you increase the distance between charged objects, the strength of the field decreases and the force gets smaller
