    • 'Racial hygiene' was the idea that races should avoid mixing as they believed 'lower races' would 'contaminate' 'higher races'
    • The sterlization law of 1933 made it compulsory to be sterlized if you were mentally ill, an alcoholic, deaf or blind
    • By 1934, 400000 people were sterilized in Germany
    • The T4 program of 1939 declared that babies with disabilities should be starved or overdosed. Even young people from 17 years old were eventually involved in the programme
    • 5000 disabled children were killed due to the T4 programme

    • The Nazis often threatened that they would invade Slavic countries as they required more space which Slavs apparently did not require

    • All gypsies in Nazi Germany lost their benefits and citizenship. They had to prepare to be deported in 1939
    • Nazis believed that homosexuals spoiled the purity of the Nazi race and in 1934, 766 males were imprisoned for homosexuality. Nazis encouraged Homosexuals to volunteer for castration
