• Random Sampling: picking at random
• Systematic Sampling: every nth person on a list
• Stratified random sampling: where the population is divided into subgroups and a random sample is taken from each subgroup to create a representative sample
• Quota Sampling: the sample must fulfil a quota
• Snowball Sampling: researchers find some participants who in turn have to find participants/pyramid scheme
