Floor plans
show the layout of the rooms
inside
a building and the position of the
doors

and important fittings like a

toilet.
Floor Plans
are viewed from above and are used by all trades such as:

Plans are concerned with one or more buildings which are within the same area and shows these buildings within their own site (or plot) boundary.

site plan
allows the builder to

out the site before digging trenches for

drains.

Site Plans
may include

or
drainage
information and would be used by
plumbers

landscape architects

etc.

location plan
shows where the site is located within the

area. It shows
road

outlines
of
buildings
and
site boundaries

boundaries).
In a
location
plan, a new build in an existing street is highlighted by a thick
outline
and
shading
or
colour

plan will include information for
