    each bar’s length/ height corresponds to its value

    used for continuous data (e.g. age)
    there should be no space between the bar because data is continuous (e.g. 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, etc.)

    a type of chart used to display data points connected by straight lines showing trends/ changes overtime / across categories
    effective for illustrating continuous data & tracking variations

    displays the relationship between 2 variables
    each point represents a single observation with values for both variables
