  • Travel results in a phase delay or advance This can result in jet lag, due to the desynchronisation of bodily rhythms, due to the capacity of the supracharistmas nucleus one day is needed to adjust to one hour of time change (Winters et al, 2008)
    • The symptoms of jet lag include nausea, insomnia and mild depression, which can all affect performance
