  • Tradition is the wisdom of the past + good practices survive
  • Tradiyion established identity leading to social cohesion and security -> e.g. Union flag is flown in every government building
• Conservatives valuing of the monarchs - royalism
• Miriam Cates (Conservative MP) broke from normal routine to honour soldiers lost in the World Wars
• Marriage tax allowance under Cameron (pay less tax overall)
