  • Criminogenic Capitalism
    Capitalism by its very nature causes crime.
  • Why Crime Occurs: 
    1. Poverty may be the only way an individual can survive 
    2. Crime may be the only way to obtain what capitalism promotes of states you need 
    3. Alienation and lack of control over one's life can cause aggression and frustration causing non-utilitarian crimes
