  • Muslims look to the actions and sayings of Muhammed as a model for justice and moral conduct, as it is believed that he lived the most virtuous life --> practice of sunnah

  • Muslims believe that justice is a fundamental principle of Islam and that it should be upheld in all aspects of life, including social, economic, and legal matters.

  • Muslims believe part of their roles as Allah's vicegerents means they must act justly, and to ensure the world is governed in a fair way
  • Equality is seen as one of the basic principles of the Islamic justice system, and it allows for no prejudice

    -the pillar of Zakah, and charities such as Muslim Aid and the Islamic Relief aim to bring global justice

    -advanced civilisations, e.g in the UK, have enforced laws which keeps society operating safely and properly
    -justice systems involve police, courts, prisons and enforcing laws
