• End user: An end user is the person that a software program or hardware device is designed for. The term is based on the idea that the "end goal" of a software or hardware product is to be useful to the

  consumer. The end user can be contrasted with the developers or programmers of the product. End users are also in a separate group from the installers or administrators of the product.
• Interface: A user interface, also called a "UI" or simply an "interface"; is the means in which a person controls a software application or hardware device. A good user interface provides a "user-

  friendly"; experience, allowing the user to interact with the software or hardware in a natural and intuitive way.
