    1. One way the us government tried to tackle health inequality is through the affordable care act. This makes health insurance cheaper. For example, only 1 in 7 Americans have no health insurance.
    2. The us government introduced the head start program to stop educational inequalitie. This gives food and extra support to poor children before they start primary school. For example, each year a million head start children are helped in nursery

    1. One way the us government tried to tackle poverty is through SNAP. poor people can use their SNAP card to buy food so they don’t starve. For example, 42 million Americans were helped through SNAP in 2023

    1. One way the us government tried to tackle poverty is through SNAP. This is not effective because unhealthy foods are cheaper so people on SNAP have an unbalanced diet.For example, they are likely to be obese from SNAP.
    2. Lots of Americans protested against affordable health care. Insurance and tax have gone up for middle class Americans to pay for poorer Americans. For example, 1 in 7 Americans are uninsured.

    1. One of the ways the us government has tried to tackle unemployment is through TANF. This is not effective because it forces people to work for very low wages and this is only available for 5 years. For example, 50 million Americans are poor, and 10 million are unemployed.
