• What does pituitary glands?


  Makes glands and secretes hormones into blood to have effect on or other glands to make them produce hormones
• What's released in thyroid glands?(neck)

  Releases thyroxine and controls l heart rate, temperature and metabolic rate
• What does pancreas contain

  secretes insulin and glucagon and controls blood glucose levels
• What does ovaries produce?


  Produces sex hormones, oestrogen and progesterone
• What does adrenal glands release (above )

  Several hormones including andrenelin
• What does testes release?


  Sex hormones, testerone
• Endocrine system

  • Effects are produced slower that nervous system but last longer
