  • What are the advantages of direct elections?
The winning candidate will have the largest percentage of the vote, meaning they obtained the most support amongst all candidates. Would resolve the sue of candidates winning the presidency despite losing the popular vote

  • Which two states are the only ones using the congressional district system in elections?

  • In 2016, if the congressional district was used, who would have won?
    Donald Trump
  • In 2000, who would’ve won under the congressional district system?
    George Bush
