• Graham and Bowling 1995: white and black rates of offending were very similar 44% and 43% but Indian 30% and Pakistani 28% and Bangledeshi 13% were much lower
• Sharp and Budd 2005: around 40% of white and mixed ethnic origins had committed an a offence followed by 28% of black people and asian people 21% 
• Sharp and Budd 2005: 27% of males of mixed ethnicity had used drugs in the last year compared with 16% of black and white males and 5% of asian males. Class A drugs used much more among white people.
