  • Here's the method to find the density of liquids:
    Step 1: Place an empty measuring cylinder on a top pan balance and set the balance to 0.
    Step 2: Carefully pour the liquid into the measuring cylinder.
    Step 3: Read the mass off the top pan balance and read the volume off the measuring cylinder.
    Step 4: Calculate density
    Step 5: Repeat
