    • The vagueness of the constitution leaves a lot to interpretation, the final say on which goes to the Supreme Court.
    • It is very hard to overturn a Supreme Court decision which arguably gives the 9 justices the ultimate say over important constitutional issues.
    • The entrenched nature of the constitution makes it difficult to amend. it keeps the country from making quick changes to important rules as it requires 2/3 majority in congress and 3/4 of states
  • While the Constitution was designed to limit government power, some believe it sometimes prevents the government from acting effectively on issues like social welfare, education, or climate change.
