Neutralisation
is the reaction between an
acid
and
alkaline
to form
salt
and
water.
Measure out
10cm3
of
vinegar
and add
it
to the
beaker
2. Add
5-6
drops of
universal
indicator solution
3. compare the
colour
with the
indicator
chart and note the corresponding
pH
4. Add a small amount of
lime
, stir with a
glass rod
and note the
pH
5. Keep adding small amounts of
lime
and recording the
pH
until the
colour
no longer
changes
