Traumatic brain injury (TBI)- defined as penetrating head injury that disrupts the normal function of the brain.
Causes: when the head violently hits an object or when an object pierces the skull and enters brain tissue
Hematoma- is a collection or clotting of blood outside the blood vessels. It can lead to pressure building up inside your skull, this can cause you to lose
of consciousness or result of permanent brain damage.
Hemorrhage - Is uncontrolled bleeding there can be bleeding in the space around your brain, often cause headaches and vomiting
Causes: head trauma, high blood pressure, blood vessels abnormalities, bleeding disorder.
Bruised sternum - Causes: Hitting the chest or high impact contact sports
Symptoms: Pain in your jaw or neck, dizziness, fatigue, excessive sweating, rapid breathing
Tetraplegia- also known as Quadriplegia, this means your arms, hand, trunk, legs, and pelvic organs are all affected by spinal cord injury
Paraplegia- this paralysis affects all parts of trunk, legs and pelvic organs.
Scoliosis is a medical condition in which a person's spine has a sideways
curve. The curve is usually "S"- or "C"-shaped. In some, the degree of curve is stable, while in others, it increases over time. Mild scoliosis does not typically cause problems, while severe cases can interfere with breathing.
