Centre of Mass

• Centre of Mass

  The point at which the entire mass of an object can be considered to be concentrated
• How can you find an object's centre of mass?

  1. Put a hole in one corner of the card and suspend from a rod of a clamp stand
  2. Use a plumb line to draw a vertical line on the card
  3. Repeat process on different corners. At the end find where the lines intersect to find it's centre of mass.
