  • The Quraysh then proposed to the prophet to worship their gods and in return they would worship his god, to which Allah replied in Surah Al-Kafirun : "You have your religion and I have my Religion".
  • The Quraysh then decided to approach Abu Talib and told him to withdraw his protection or stop the prophet from preaching or the Quraysh would resort to violence, but when Abu Talib appealed to the prophet, the prophet told him that he could not stop until God fulfills his mission, and so Abu Talib let the prophet preach and did not remove his protection.
