  • Page layout
    refer to the arrangement of text, images, and other objects on a page. Pages sizes are Short (letter).8.5" by 11" Long(Folio)-8.5" by 13"; A4-8.27" by 11.69"
  • Page orientation
    portrait and landscape
  • Image placement
    This is the default setting for images that are inserted or integrated in a document.
  • Square
    This setting allows you to insert a picture anywhere in the paragraph, with the text wrapping around it in a square pattern, similar to a frame
  • Tight
    this is almost the same as the square setting, but here the text "hugs" to the general shape of the image.
  • Through
    this setting allows the text on your document to flow even tighter, taking the contour and shape of the image
  • Top and bottom
    This setting pushes the text away vertically to the top and / or the bottom of the image so that the image occupies a whole text line on its own.
  • Behind text
    This allows your image to be dragged and place anywhere on your document but all text floating in front it.
  • In front of text
    This setting allows your image to be placed right on top of the text as if your image was dropped right on it.
  • Active tab
    The active tab refers to the currently selected tab on the Ribbon. The Ribbon is the horizontal menu bar that contains tabs and commands for formatting text, inserting objects, and performing other tasks in Word.
  • Rulers
    The rulers in Word are the horizontal and vertical lines that appear at the top and left side of the document area. They are used to measure and align text, graphics, and other elements in the document.
  • Ribbon
    The Ribbon is the menu bar that runs across the top of the Word window. It contains tabs and commands for performing various tasks in Word.
  • Document header
    The document header is the top margin of a document, where you can add text or graphics that appear on every page of the document.
  • Document are
    The document area is the main working area of the Word window where you can create, edit, and format text and other content
  • View buttons
    The View buttons are the icons located in the bottom right corner of the Word window that allow you to switch between different views of the document, such as Print Layout, Web Layout, and Draft.
  • Zoom slider
    The Zoom slider is a tool located in the bottom right corner of the Word window that allows you to adjust the magnification level of the document display
