Right and Left Atria - located at the base of the heart and the right and left ventricles extend from the base of the heart toward the apex
Interatrial septum - this partition separates the two atria from each other
Right and Left Ventricles - it is the major pumping chambers, in which they eject blood into the arteries and force it to flow through the circulatory system
Interventricular septum - this muscle separates the two ventricles from each other
Coronary Sulcus - a groove which extends around the heart, separating the atria from the ventricles.
Anterior interventricular sulcus - on the anterior surface of the heart
Posterior interventricular sulcus - on the posterior surface of the heart
Superior vena cava and Inferior vena cava - carries the blood from the body to the right atrium
Pulmonary veins - in which four veins carry blood from the lungs to the left atrium
Pulmonary trunk - arises from the right ventricle and splits into the right and left;
Pulmonary arteries - which carries blood to the lungs
Aorta - arises from the left ventricle, which carries blood to the rest of the body
