• aim - investigate how varying the force affects the acceleration of an object at constant mass
• 1 - keep the mass at the end of the string at 100g, but add a mass to the toy car e.g. 200g
• 2 - record car accelerating along desk. repeat the experiment increasing mass to toy car
• 3 - acceleration of object is inversely proportional to the mass of the object, so as we increase the mass of the car, acceleration decreases
